It is important for consumers to have as much information as possible when considering their options for any service - and this is no different with healthcare. We will provide you ongoing outcomes data for CMC - NorthEast with explanations as to how that information is connected to quality healthcare. Increasing focus on Quality in our healthcare systems
CMC - NorthEast has been internally focusing on our outcomes for years. We are constantly reviewing our data and our processes to determine how we can improve the services we provide. We also participate in a variety of external projects focusing on quality outcomes by submitting our data to regional or national databases for comparative analysis. This form of benchmarking - or determining best practices based on outcomes information - allows us to continuously improve the care we deliver.

CMC - NorthEast participates in data sharing with Joint Commission (an external accrediting body for healthcare organizations), Medical Review of NC (our state quality improvement organization), IHI's 100K Lives campaign, and The Quality Initiative, a national effort driven by the American Hospital Association and the National Quality Forum. Most initiatives ask hospitals to submit data for their high volume or high-risk patient populations or those problem prone areas for improvement.
