The NorthEast Student Art Gallery was created in 1998 and is located in the Medical Arts Center hallway in front of Café 920. NorthEast Foundation board members work collaboratively with area schools to display student art. Participating schools include: Cabarrus County Schools, Cannon School, First Assembly Christian School, and Kannapolis City Schools. Art from each school is featured in the Medical Arts Building for three months and the system's art is then rotated to the Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital where it is displayed for an additional three months. Two pieces of student art are selected for inclusion in a permanent art collection at CMC - NorthEast. A cash prize is provided by CMC - NorthEast to the student and the art program at the student's school. View the current student art gallery schedule
