All images used in the e-cards service are provided courtesy of the NorthEast Foundation Student Art Competition. Artistic images used on the cards are winning student entries purchased by CMC - NorthEast and are not to be reused or copied in whole or part without prior written permission from CMC - NorthEast.

The NorthEast Student Art Gallery was created in 1998 and is located in the Medical Arts Center hallway in front of Café 920. NorthEast Foundation board members work collaboratively with area schools to display student art. Participating schools include: Cabarrus County Schools, Cannon School, First Assembly Christian School, and Kannapolis City Schools. Art from each school is featured in the Medical Arts Building for three months and the system's art is then rotated to the Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital where it is displayed for an additional three months. Two pieces of student art are selected for inclusion in a permanent art collection at CMC - NorthEast. A cash prize is provided by CMC - NorthEast to the student and the art program at the student's school.
