CMC - NorthEast has established six Centers of Excellence which represent the very best of our patient care services. In each center, a comprehensive team of physicians, nurses, and clinical professionals comes together to provide our community with unmatched excellence in medical and professional care.

Centers Of Excellence

• Batte Cancer Center - comprehensive cancer treatment from chemotherapy to radiation oncology paired with integrative therapies and a rejuvenation center. The cancer program is accredited with commendation by the Commission of Cancer and is designated a Center of Excellence for Complex and Rare Cancers by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina.
  
  
• Cannon Heart Center - complete cardiac care from stress testing to cardiovascular surgery and cardiac rehabilitation through our health and fitness center
  
  
• Diagnostic Imaging Center - radiology services with state of the art technology including MRI & CT scanning, PET and PET/CT scanners, mammography, and ultrasound, as part of our Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine departments
  
  
• Emergency Care Center - emergency medical treatment for a variety of symptoms and conditions, with special centers such as Fast Track and Triage, plus a 24-hour Chest Pain Center
  
  
• Hayes Family Center - mother and baby are cared for together with our dual-trained newborn and postpartum care nurses; additional areas include our NICU and PICU for critically ill children and our Children's Advocacy Center for abused children
  
  
• Surgery Center - surgical services are provided both at the hospital and through an outpatient surgery center and include general surgery as well as specialized surgeries such as bariatric surgery through our Surgical Weight Loss Program
