The Cardiac Catheterization Lab provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment for improving cardiac functional capacity and quality of life for patients of the Charles A. Cannon Heart Center. The lab provides pre, intra and post procedural patient assessments to educate each patient regarding their site care, medications, and follow-up care. Staff perform procedures such as treatment and revascularization for coronary artery, peripheral artery and valvular diseases, restoration of conduction for optimal cardiac rhythm, and administration of therapies to improve those patients diagnosed with cardiomyopathy.
