Billing Policies
CMC-NorthEast is a part of the premier health services system in the region. We are pleased you have chosen us to provide your healthcare needs. The mission of CMC-NorthEast is the foundation for every action we take. Our mission is simple, but unique: we are dedicated to creating and operating a comprehensive system to provide healthcare and related services, including education and research opportunities, for the benefit of the people we serve.

Insurance claims are submitted within days of service to Medicare, Medicaid, commercial Managed Care, Liability when Medicare or Medicaid are involved, and other carriers.

Patients are expected to pay any known co-pays, deductible and non-covered amounts when services are received. All requests for payments are based upon estimated amounts and are not considered final billing totals. Any remaining balances due will be mailed to the responsible party once the insurance company has paid or denied. The balance is due and payable upon receipt of your statement. Insurance claims are submitted as a courtesy service and do not relieve patients of financial obligations.

If a patient's account(s) becomes past due, CMC-NorthEast may pursue outside collection activity, including legal action, if necessary.

CMC-NorthEast understands that healthcare costs can be expensive and often unexpected. When a patient needs medical care, but does not have insurance coverage, CMC-NorthEast will offer multiple payment plans to fit a patient's financial needs.
